Not so Sweet chocolate?

by Hilary Bradley on 11/27/11

Could it be? Say it's not so! I like my chocolate sweet. But I also like my chocolate on everything, so I'm glad Dove Discoveries share with us a Savory Chocolate Steak Sauce. Olive Oil, Shallots, balsamic Vinegar, port wine, beef staock and rosemary are added to the Dove Chef Series Dark chocolate. See the recipe at http://www.dove-chocolate-discoveries.com/sites/thechocolatechick/public/fun-recipes/iframe?recipeUrl=/sites/thechocolatechick/public/fun-recipes/savories/steak-sauce/popup

Chocolate is always a good subject for Blogs

by Hilary Bradley on 11/02/11

OK, it has only taken 9 years of being in business to start this blog. Chocolate is such a robust subject, I think it will be fun to keep up on the lastest ideas as well as discuss the origins of chocolate. It has a really great history. I hope a forwward thinking teacher will have us come in with the chocaolte fontia when they are talking about Meso America- the birth place of chocolate. Where else should a proud Washingtonian start? The Smithsonian of course! http://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/brief-history-of-chocolate.html
